What are the advantages and disadvantages of having Electric Car?

Because I might buy one...

Disadvantages:
1. Batteries. How long will they last? How much will they cost to replace? What is their impact on the environment?
2. Added complexity. A hybrid essentially has 2 drive trains. (If you are thinking electric-only, the complexity is reduced from a hybrid.)
3. Charging stations. Are they available where/when you need them?
4. Short Range. Can you go far enough between charges to make it worthwhile?
5. Electric motor creates ozone.
6. Size is usually small.

Advantages:
1. Can be charged by solar power.
2. Does not [directly] burn fossil fuel.
3. Does not directly.
4. Quiet.
5. Simpler power train than hybrid.
6. No dinosaurs are hurt in the refueling process.
7. Easy size to park.
