I have a used Chevrolet Monte Carlo (2001), and recently, the button to move the drivers side seat, won't work, and I can't get my seat to move. The button is a little electric button on the side that you push, and whenever I push it, it just makes short little buzzing sounds, the seat will move a little, and that's it. Also, and this is actually probably not important, but when I hit the unlock button on my remote, the only thing that blinks are the front lights, and the back lights don't blink anymore. My question is, could this mean that there's something wrong with the electricity in the car (or whatever causes those things to work)? And would it best to go to a Chevrolet dealer to get it fixed?

Well any mechanic with a brain can check for power from the switch to the seat motor. Since you hear a buzzing, then "something electrically" is happening. Using a flashlight, operate the switch while inspecting the seat operation for any signs of binding. If you have a multimeter you can check and see if you have battery voltage at the affected motor when you operate the switch. As for the rear light problem, are the bulbs burned out?
