What are the advantages and disadvantages of owning Reva, the Electric Car?

Crude oil price have increased tremendously. The price inflation rate is almost 100% in 6 months and predictions are that it may touch 200 to 250$ a barrel. With this in mind, the interest in hybrid/Electric Cars is getting more attention. What would be the pros and cons of buying the only one available in India in The Electric Car segment: the Reva?
Is staying in a high rise apartment complex a con for using Reva? I am not sure if the battery can be removed and charged at home.

Reva is a great car to own now.
Pros:-
1. It doesn't need any petrol/diesel.
2. It's low maintainence.
3. It is easy to navigate, especially in narrow, overcrowded Indian roads.

Cons:-
1. It is not a very fast car.
2. It can seat only 2-3 people.
